The honey is locally harvested in New York City and different parts in New Jersey around the Garden State Parkway. We take so much pride in giving our customers that amazing sweetness from those little buzzing bees.
Crystallized honey is actually a good sign—it means your honey is raw and natural, not overly processed.
Over time, the natural sugars in honey (especially glucose) can form tiny crystals, giving it a thicker, grainy texture. This doesn’t mean it’s spoiled or low quality—in fact, it’s often the opposite. Pure, local honey tends to crystallize faster because it hasn’t been heavily filtered or heated.
If you prefer it smooth again, just place the jar in warm (not boiling) water and stir gently until it returns to a liquid state. Avoid microwaving, as high heat can reduce some of honey’s beneficial properties.
So don’t toss it—crystallized honey is still perfectly good, delicious, and wholesome.
